The PATH Modal Applications Program goals are:
  • To conduct research on new concepts, methods, and technologies for innovating, enhancing and improving transit solutions, which will yield near-to-mid term results in attracting choice riders to public transit while providing improved service to transit dependent riders, thereby helping to reduce traffic congestion and improve the quality of life of transit riders.
  • To provide technical expertise for assistance in implementation of new concepts, methods and technologies.
  • To facilitate the sharing of knowledge and innovation.
Wei-Bin Zhang is the Program Leader for the PATH Modal Applications Program.
